Daniel James French is an associate attorney with CIRRUS LAW PLLC. Daniel assists his clients with estate planning, trust administration, probate and tax matters, including estate and gift taxation, charitable giving, federal tax controversy, non-profit organizations, and State and Local Tax issues.
Daniel received his law degree from Seattle University School of Law. While in attendance, Daniel excelled in diverse areas of law, but quickly developed a passion for taxation and estate planning. Through experiences in the University of Washington Low-Income Federal Tax Clinic and the Non-Profit Business Taxation Clinic, he gained valuable insights into representing clients in disputes with the IRS.
In order to provide clients with the best possible knowledge and service — and to refine his understanding of the highly technical tax issues involved in estate planning — he attended the Graduate Tax Program at the University of Washington School of Law, where he studied tax law applicable to trusts, estates, retirement accounts, and business entities, and received his Master of Laws in Taxation from the University of Washington in 2021.
Daniel is an outdoors enthusiast who spends most weekends hiking and camping all over the Pacific Northwest and enjoys any opportunity to get outdoors.
